Tumblr Experimental Sound Box
While looking through the HTML of Tumblr today I noticed some code for a feature I never saw before. It’s a sound box that plays all the tracks on your dashboard. To turn it on type “listen” from your dashboard. It will pop up at the top of the screen. It’s in alpha, so I’m sure its not perfect. But still pretty cool! Don’t forget to check out tumbltape to turn your tumblr into a playlist :)

You can now embed tumbltape’s on your tumblr or anywhere else that allows iframes! Go to any tumbltape and you will see an embed code on the right hand side of the screen.
If your lazy you can use this code:

Tagging is fixed
Found a small bug that wasnt reading tags correctly. You can setup an artist/track tag by clicking “Advanced options” on your audio post and then adding a tag like “tt:artist - track”. If you don’t add a tag, we will do our best to read it from the description text.
We lost all our email!

Popular Tumbltapes
You can now explore tumbltapes by most popular. The list is calculated by the number of plays, how old the track is and a few other nifty math things I wont bore you with. My apologies to those of you who were online tonight while I was testing this and killed the server for a few minutes.
